Just hook it back together by any reasonable means (i.e.- butt connector, solder, etc., NOT twist & tape or wirenut).
Brown is usually the parking light circuit which would flash them for the alarm. I don't see a broken brown in the picture, BUT I do see a nasty@$$ blue ScotchLok tap on a wire that's too big for it. FIX THAT!

It would help if you used puntuation in your posts. The brown wire is for your horn, that is why the alarm was tapped into it. For your tail lights there is a harness on the left of of the fuse box, take a look at the brown wire, I think it's the 3rd one from the bottom. Test to see if you have power there and if you do start checking the wire from the fuse box to the connection in the trunk. It's an aliminum wire and prone to corrosion problems, the wire may be broken at the fuse box connection

I don't what works to splice an aluminum wire together but what I did with mine when I had that problem I glued the wire in place in that connector. I'm changing that harness this winter and making my own harness with copper strand wire

Where the heck do you get aluminum wire for automotive use ? WTH ? Could it be a length of tinned marine grade wire ? Hard to tell from the picture not being clear. If its stranded wire its not aluminum.

it's single strand aluminum wire from factory, that is the only harness with aluminum wire and I have no idea where to get a new harness, that is why I plan on making my own. Maybe painless has it
