Anyone here have any experience with the Speedway bolt on kit. I’m in the middle of swapping my rear end for a posi and being the rookie I am with G bodies just found out how hoakie the wheel cylinder retainer is.
I think I would like something a little more stable and also a good excuse to upgrade😁
This is the kit I’m referring to.

Good point thanks, also after a bit more reading I see they won’t work with my 15” Rallies.

Anyone have any other kit recommendations?

I have that kit. Only difference in my kit is that my kit had the calipers with the parking brake built in. My rims are Olds rally 15" rims and they fit just fine. Now all things being fair, I just got my brakes plumbed up last week. So I have not tested function of the kit. Fitment in had no issues with.

You will have to modify the brake lines running along the diff as the stock lines will be to long. I purchased braided stainless lines to connect my calipers. I think I have all my packages and can try and snap pics of my setup if you choose to try that kit.

So you have this kit and there’s a chance my Corvette rallies will work? Yes if you don’t mind snapping a few pictures the would be great, thanks.

I used the LS Rear brakes on mine. They just clear the 15" rallies in my sig. That and the Blazer front brakes are probably the best upgrade I have done to my car. And it's all stock 99-03 camaro\blazer stuffs you can find at any auto parts store

Theyre made to fit within a 15" circle track rear, I dont see what they wouldnt fit another 15" steel wheel.

Also I can build that out for you using allstar PNs. not a "kit" but will be cheaper. Still a bolt on and all that

Here are some pics of the kit installed. I tried to also show how I have the brake lines plumbed as well. The gap between the rim and caliper is large enough that I could slide a quarter in there and not hit the caliper or rim.

Okay so these kits are made for stock cars? Yes if you would like to put a list together that would be great. I didn’t really plan for this and it will be cutting into my engine budget so I’m still weighing in options, thanks for the help.

Thanks for taking the time to snap those pictures I really appreciate it, looks good. Was you able to use the stock emergency cable with the kit?

Did any of you have to change the master cylinder and/or Proportioning valve?

Thanks for all replies and help.
