Hey all. Was raised in a plethora of cars by a family of car lovers. I appreciate all kinds of rides, have owned cars and trucks from classic to modern. First G Body I rode in was an 84 Cutlass Supreme and I loved it. I have family that's owned em all. EXCEPT the Monte. Until now. Picked up an 85 SS, unmolested, black on burgundy, solid roof, auto 305. Pretty solid overall. Using it as my daily and plan on continuing to.

Looks amazing for that mileage. Mine's only 74k, and I've got plenty of little details that need attention. Any big plans?

Big plans? Idk if I'd call them "big plans".. I intend on upgrading, some modifications..
I love music so definitely putting a system. Radio, keeping 3.5s up front, maybe move from 4x10 to 6x9 on rear, want a box in the trunk. Looking to pick up a suspension kit. My older brother wants to help in removing the 305 and dropping a 350 or 383, which I won't oppose lol brakes all around, grippy tires.
I want her fairly low, mean looking and sounding. But ultimately I aim to drive her regularly. Maybe a random track day once in a while but mostly a get to work, pick up daughter from school, grocery getter that's worthy or photos and attracts the right attention

Sounds like a pretty solid, reasonable plan. Right now, mine are mostly dreams. 😄 It's probably between an LS3 E-Rod, or (gasp!) an EV restomod. But it runs and drives, and has passed smog (an unfortunate reality where I live). Can't ask for more than that. I'm definitely with you in terms of a sound system. That's on my list to do this year.
