I have 83 Camaro Berlinetta (5 lug 5 x 4.75 14s I think). 78 Trans Am (5 lug same bolt pattern 15s) fit. Ran them for years with the biggest tires that would fit.

Question: will 5-lug 15s from an 87 Chevy C10 fit?

Please help. Knew this stuff 30 years ago, but hard to navigate all the information. Have to return the Trans Am rims, but some of my original rims are "missing" and so if I have to replace, I want to stick with 15s... It really did make a difference I felt.

Thank you in advance for helping me get it back on the road!

No.
5-lug GM trucks are 5x5 (5x127mm) pattern from the manufacturer.

Thanks. Information I found says all vehicles in that era are same 5 x 4.75 but seems to me I had issues with a swap once and wanted to confirm.

Again thank you! I used to know this stuff... Ugg. Stay well!

Trucks & full size (large bodied) 'family' cars were 5x5 pattern (think Impala station wagon, big Caddy's, etc).
Smaller cars got the 5x4.75" pattern (A/G body Malibu's; F-body's, 3rd/4th gen Nova's, S10 trucks, etc).
