Changed out a ballast on the GTO that originally had just been not firing at start up but after turning the headlight off then on would come on stopped working after it was on for bit. Then wouldn't you know it after I install that one, the other side then didn't fire after the start up:blam: Guess I will keep an eye on it and see if it is also going to get replaced, spent some time looking for the other DDM HID setups that had gone bad to send back together but can't seem to find them now either.

Over the weekend finally decided to put all my pics of the SEMA girls together and try to make some videos to stick on the Tube of You, man that is a huge pain but got a few of them up while still trying to work out the others. Here is a link to them, let me know what I should change. They originally had music from the app that I made the video in then it said there was a copyright issue so wouldn't monetize, this was of course after I tried the actual YouTube app to make them but they want to charge you to make any video's after a certain length. And of course after I get them all done it says 3 of them are too long being close to 20 minutes, man do they make it tough

I thought you were selling the TBSS?

Oh, it's been listed since last Summer. If I do get a bite (in this market? LOL!) it is good to have it looking sharp.

I just compounded one side.

It is a single stage paint.

Filled out a few more job applications on USAJOBS.com I like being home but I gotta get a jay oh bee! The virus killed my job in March. Otherwise, back under the '88 Cadillac Brougham. New stainless brake lines are mostly done. Running the new stainless steel vapor return line down the left frame rail now. Will be on the road after that.

mowed the lawn today and heard music when I shut the mower off. It got louder the closer to the work truck I got. I also heard the fan blowing away. Problem being is the truck is shut off and locked. The keys were in my jacket pocket in the house. As a reluctant Fjord owner I am going to guess the GEM module is wet and shorting sh*t out. I was planning to install a heater shutoff valve after supper today to help boost my AC as I think the blend door may be fooked.
Maybe I should invest instead in a container of 93 octane and matches ??

My oh my this beer is tasty !

zero at that point. 2 and a shot of Rye now :) .... and its raining again. Good news though. Ribs have been low and slow on the grill for 3 hours now, wifey made cornbread and some of last falls shucked corn, chicken goes on next followed by a t-bone for me. Figured I will drown myself in self-indulgence and tackle the work truck in the AM.

Spent the whole long weekend getting to this point.

But it's done. Clean inside and out. Not bad for a 4 season ripper.

EDIT - I had to add this:

Got some work done on my long forgotten garden tractor project. It's an 84' John Deere 214. I rebuilt the Kohler K321 14 HP engine ten years ago or so but never started it, just rolled it over from time to time. I picked up a non running JD LT133 this past winter and got that all straightened out and am pretty pleased with it. So with a little head of steam I pulled this tractor out of the corner and started tinkering. The fuel pump was shot from sitting for years with a thimble of fuel left in it so that's ordered as is a carb kit just to cover the bases.

While waiting for parts I got to work on the seat pan, it was pretty rusty but garage kept for the last 13 years so it didn't get any worse. I'm no Donovan and won't BS you, it's an improvement but it's not going to be a beauty queen, a 15'er at best. I got 4 coats of JD primer on it out in the sunny backyard and it dried as quick as I could spray it. Plan to d/a it with 220 and try to smooth it out some, then put down two or three more coats of primer to build it up a bit. I'll lightly finish sand with 220 and spray it with JD "Classic" green next week while on vacation. I like the Classic green more than regular JD Green that it should be painted, just my preference.
