Yeah theres 2 looms that go through the firewall on the right hand side, so i take it with a computer some of these were injected? Sounds good it's not an issue Cheers
Not injected but it did control the carb via feedback from sensors. It also controled the original transmisson for the lock up feature ot the torque converter. Go with your 305, a good 4 bbl carb, that TH350 you're looing for & enjoy.

Slowly sorting bits over here, bit harder to find but i'm getting there. Bought an import trans from the us today, it's pot luck you either get a goodie or you have to rebuild it so fingers crossed its a good trans. Looks to have been out of a van maybe - big long dipstick on it. Good clean trans & dosent smell burnt inside - also got the clamshell mounts for the crossmember & they were able to track down the matching mounts for the block so once i pick the engine up & cut the holden mounts off & clean that up i'll be able to drop the 305 in.
Anyone know if the driveshaft from the 2.8 & bop trans will fit? Also scored a set of staggered offset 16x8 alloys off a pontiac that fitted perfect, suit the look i'm going for perfectly to.
Bit by bit she'll come together;)(y)

Dave,
I always liked the Pontiac TransAm wheels of that era. Good score. Did you find a set of 4? The reason I ask is that the rear indicated wheels have a wider backspace and would require spacer/ adapters. Unless you were able to score a whole set of front wheels. You should see them marked accordingly. Also, it's easier to find tires of that size than 14's and 15's.
Looks good man.

Theyre staggered offset i got the set of four - rears fit perfectly centered in the wheel well. I'll bolt the fronts on today for a look hopefully they center well to, didnt realize they were Trans am wheels. Good score for $350 with mint tread & cheers pretty stoked with the look myself:)
