I pulled the 4.1 v6 out of my Regal way too quick and didn't label anything... Thought I was smart, now I have some random connecters that I don't know where they go. I had my old Chevette memorized like the back of my hand and just figured I knew enough to figure it out... IMG_20200728_145909882.jpg IMG_20200728_145848311.jpg temp or oil pressure?

IMG_20200728_145918951.jpg IMG_20200728_145921952.jpg totally lost on this one with the resistor.
IMG_20200728_145942513.jpg positive to distributor/coil?

IMG_20200728_145947790.jpg Electric choke?

IMG_20200728_145955598.jpg negativ the dist/coil?

IMG_20200728_150009942.jpg IMG_20200728_150012747.jpg temp sensor maybe?

IMG_20200728_150031378.jpg IMG_20200728_150033525.jpg F**Ked if I can even guess at what connector this might be...

I feel extremely stupid here, I know better than to do this.. any help would be greatly appreciated. Want to get this sbc running.

first looks like the alt,the second one is the oil pressure, third is to the positive dist, the last two pics are for the hvac.
that green one(#6) might be a temp sensor that was in the head.

1st one with resistor is compressor wire
next one round I think ac press switch on accumulator
distrubutor ones look correct
choke correct
single green is fan for heat/ac and should connect to connector that looks the same
last 4 prong connector ac stuff too

Thanks for the quick response. The only thing is this is a factory heat only car. And I unplugged all of these from something when I removed the drivetrain. The distributor ones are what I need to most to get this to start. So I can get my motivation back lmao..

I was stupid to not label things as I took them apart. But I was excited and figured once I eliminated the ecm everything would get simple.

I think the big round one two prong one must be the oil pressure, what's throwing me off is it doesn't have the usual gm plastic buckle that locks around the sensor.

My car has an idiot light for oil pressure and gauge for temperature. There's no plug that looks like it would plug in to a temperature sensor.

I don't even know what ports they use for temp and oil pressure on a Buick V6

Even idiot lights need sending units. ;)

Right, so why don't any of the plugs look like they'll fit? Shouldn't the electric choke be tied in with the temperature somehow too?

Figured everything was going to be pretty obvious when I put it back together 😂 it's not like there's that many wires
