Stuck harmonic balancer on tear down

So I bought my harmonic balancer tool been fighting with harmonic balancer on this 350 sb tear down to get it to machine shop for new build for 383 for my 85 grand prix swap from stock 305 but maybe I'm not doing sumthen right cuz its not bugging frustrating

I took bolts loose cause I got frustrated I even put torch on it
The flat side of the puller Has to face you so when the puller applies force to the crankshaft it doesn’t pull the bolts to an angle and put washers On the bolts you should be able to use an impact gun on the puller and walk the balancer right off the crankshaft And use all three bolts to pull balancer

Forgive me for asking, but did you take the bolt out of the end of the crank first?

You also should put grease on the threads of the puller. The threads can gall if you dont. I would also use 3 shorter bolts but thats just me.

while under tension hit the balancer with a decent hammer,i know it's rough and will damage it all etc but shocking it under tension might help move
