‘57 F100 with stock hydraulic slave cylinder and Wilwood master cylinder with 1/8” smaller than stock piston. Flawless.

I have two cars with stock mechanical setups and love them. Smooth and easy.
I also have one bbo with a t56. Mcleod hyd slave tob (6+ years), junk yard camaro master and a clutch pedal from sicspeedmonte.
Previously i had a tsi(?) clutch pedal but that was lacking proper geometry for hyd clutch. I could only daily the car for about 2 1/2 weeks before my knee started hurting. Since i installed the sicspeedmonte clutch pedal, i can drive it endlessly. I don't fear rush hour traffic.

Someone else touched on this earlier, pressure plate has a lot to do with how a clutch pedal feels and operates.

I put a mechanical in mine. Perfectly happy. I suggest getting a different T5. The 6 cylinder ratios are pretty steep. You may not like it behind the V8

The 3.75 first ratio is steep but these are the strongest, 310 ft/lbs rated and easiest to find. I like that the dual pattern BOP bell housing, came specifically behind the Olds V8, thanks to the Ford top loader option, allows it to bolt right on the F body V6 trans. Make sure the input length is right, it may need trimming.
