There was an update on that many years ago. Go to an AC Delco place and you buy a pigtail and the new sensor. I can't believe it laSTED THIS LONG

Did they change it to the 2 prong style sensor, and can I get the connector also?

I was breaking my head trying to figure out the same sensor on my cutlass not long ago. I couldn't find the connector for it on my car and every parts place would pull up the 2 prong style. One day while repairing my harness I removed all the wire loom and found a 2 prong connector hidden inside. Got the 2 prong sensor plugged it in and it worked. Still haven't figured out why there was a 1 prong sensor but no connector for it.

Do you have a photo of the wire loom where you found a 2 prong connector? I have a V6 3.8L 231 engine and I have a single prong sensor (front passenger side of the engine) with no wire connected to it. Upon visual inspection of the wiring, I don't see another connection, but maybe I am looking in the wrong place. My dummy light flickers and I think if I find the connector, and attach it, the sensor light will go out.
