I messed around with this Fast EFI, it seemed no matter how much I tweaked it would still try to compensate for fuel at the wrong times and on deceleration it was poping in the exhaust which means it's lean. I figured the parameters in the brain must be off so I rest the system told the brain it's a 400 instead of a 355. The A/F is better and more stable, it idles nicer and starting it up cold it does not stall without feathering the gas pedal and \i have not changed any of the default settings . With the set up with the 355 I had increased the fuel on cold starts, increased the cranking fuel but I still had to add a little gas with the gas pedal or it would stall. I even had the idle A/F setting down to 12.9. and I upped the fuel pressure a few lbs......

I had that start to happen on The Juggernaut’s lower ball joints in the stock arms way back when once too. Not sure of the cause, perhaps the LCA metal stretching and expanding. Pressed it back in and threw a couple of tack welds on it for good measure.
No problems after that until I upgraded to RideTech’s StrongArm LCA’s.

I got the new led dash lights all installed and working. She is looking great and getting ready for inspection next week.

I seem to recall that someone else gave a warning only a couple of months ago about ball joints that come loose or disconnect.

Lauren and I pulled the rear out of my 87 today because she wanted the posi for her Hurst Olds and we rolled the new rear under my car

She even scored a set of 3:73s from one of the guys. And I got a little further along on my car as a bonus

Swapped the sloppy 605 box for the sketchy MCSS box. Seems like it's going to be alright.

No pics because 1) I never remember to take pics as I go, and 2) it isn't pretty like all the other girls

Hopefully this week it'll go to alignment and get some minor exhaust rework and MAYBE actually be ready for it's first real drive. MAYBE.

Going to have to weedeat the trailer out of the north pasture, and check the brake ground wire, seemed iffy last time I moved it.
