I just replaced the original stock springs with Moog 5379 that I think are the replacement. Well, I guess the old ones sagged a lot because my rear height is now about 2" higher than the front (I installed drop springs in the fronts a while ago, bought them so long ago all I can remember is they were for a 1 or 2" inch drop)

I'm looking to get that rear down about 1.5"-2" inches now. Any one have a Moog PN for springs that would work for this and keep a similar feel? I have nothing fancy in terms of suspension, only poly bushings through out.

Following. Is there a replacement spring, from another model, that will drop the rear?

I’ll update just in case this helps someone out down the road...I switched to the Moog 5413 and it lowered the rear exactly 0.75” from the Moog 5379 which is Stock spec I believe. Doesn’t sound like a lot but it made a difference visually and the were less expensive than the aftermarket lowering springs. Don’t really notice a difference in ride.

5413 is on the left in the pic. I’ll try to take a pic of the 442 with new springs soon.

The 5409 has an inch lower install height than the 5413. But that's for a Chevelle - is it expected to an 1" lower in a G?

I had the 5413 and that lowered it more than 3/4" but it wasn't low enough and I wanted a lower spring rate so I have the 5409 in the GP now. I'll get a pic of the rear height later.

On an 85-87 442, I'd just adjust the air pressure in the shocks to get the right height.... :)
