Well the transmission shop is building my BRF now
Are you having them change the shift points? The factory shift points are set up for a turbo Buick and they suck balls. The CZF valve body (MCSS) is better but still lacking. A good transmission builder should be able to change them to your liking

Don't they shift at 5000+ rpm?

I would think the stock GN governor would be perfect, depends where they actually shift. Anubis has gone to the dark side where low end torque doesn't exist😁. I love that flat curve and tons of torque right from 2900 rpm. I had my shifts right around 5000 rpm and it worked well with my 214/214 cam. What stall are you going with?
