I did get consistently better throughout the year, so I doubt I have plateaued yet.

This coming season should be the true litmus test of where I (or the car (less liking)) start underperforming.

The thing I'm doing wrong is still choppy, autox like inputs. Late apex is good, but that doesn't mean wait until the last second to dump your steering input all at once. A higher level technique would be to blend your inputs, then blend more and more. I blend, just not enough on every corner.

My muscle memory from racing a big turbo'd V6 is useless driving a PD blowered V8. Tire smoke is fun, not fast. Being intimidated by the loud pedal isn't helping either. And I have yet to loop the car so I know that I haven't found the grip limit yet.

I autox'd my C5Z once on a cold winter day. I swear I used my pinky toe on the accelerator. It was so slick I decided to leave the nannies on to help me feel the limit that day and it helped. When it's warm, the car can spin a bit and dig but when it's 35 freedom units outside that doesn't work so well. I assume my winter experience to be close to your summer experience with a jillion more hp.

Four of these are on the way:

I am working on collecting parts to build a modular 3" exhaust (factory is 2.75") with some Pypes Violators. Goal here is to be able to dump some weight for drag mode losing the axle back tubes and resonators (to be bought), and install some dumps. I mean... why not?

If anyone is cruising a scrap yard and can find me a pair of Active Exhaust Valves (with a good section of pipe on either side) it would be greatly appreciated. I am getting nothing but scammers from Nigeria on the forums. They look like this (keeping them helps with drone):

and inside (because learning):

For t*ts and pickles here's what the mufflers sound like on a 6.4L (similar cam to the HC engine):

And yes, I know I have been lying to myself about keeping it stock. We'll call it stockish.

"Titz and pickles"

Yes, I'm still 5.

I am still 18... at least my sex drive is. Unfortunately my hips are 88 and won't cooperate.

Doesn't look to hard to fabricate an exhaust for one of these cars, eh?

That's a Hooker Blackheart system. So much room for activities...
