Got the tires and wheels on my elcamino yesterday. Stoked with how they fit and how they look. One of the guys walked into the shop and “wow, that’s a lot of tire under a gbody” and it looks like it came from GM that way.

made my day. We have not set the ride height yet (QA1 coil overs all the way around) but I think once we drop it an inch it’s going to be about perfect

Well let me make your day twice by saying it does look nice. And judging by the engine pic you wont have any problems melting the rubber off the rear tires. I see the Texas tag your window. Are you in the D/FW area?

Thank you! I am in San Marcos, just south of Austin. Lived in Austin for 30 years but it’s grown so much and the traffic is so bad my wife and I decided to get out of there (we are 20 miles south now). The car is actually at JW performance in Floresville. James was kind enough to let me work on it out of one of his shop bays. His guys have been helping me with it too. James built the transmission and assembled the motor after Texas speed got done with the heads, valve train and cam. 305/35/ZR19 rears and 245/45/ZR18 fronts. All matched Michelin pilot sports. It all tucks under the fenders perfectly and has about 1/2 clearance at its tightest point on the rear frame rail. Once we get the control arms adjusted and the ride height set a little lower I think we will pick up a little more room on the tight spot.
