Oh and I've been stalking the build thread for a while, good progress! I like the build direction.

Summit also has a G body system without an X pipe. The X pipe system raises the tone. I really liked the X pipe on my 88.

To me tying the exhaust sides together gives it a higher pitch sound under acceleration. The best I can describe it is moving towards indy car sound. Nascar has gotten there as well with the headers tied together. It also tends to smooth out the idle a little more. I realize in some cases there is a small power gain on the chassis dyno, but its not for me. I did the H pipe thing as a kid 30 years ago and then hated it the first time I had to pull the transmission out. I feel there is more power in the right mufflers than tying the exhaust together.

Here is mine. It sounds lower pitched in person. I really liked the sound.

Looking at this rotor and pad kit, the rotors are 10.800 inch. I am not currently home to measure my rotors,
Any input would be great.
Thanks guys

I just installed EBC Yellows on a stock rotor with Afco oversized calipers. I've finished the initial break in and need to complete the burn in process. I will say that I have what feels like twice the stopping power over a low budget set of stock pads but I'm yet to lean on them real hard - they're time is comin' lol.

The knock them is they don't last long and they will destroy a rotor much quicker than a standard semi-metallic or ceramic pad. That's not much of concern for me as I expect to do brake maintenance/repair annually (less than 5K miles).
