TY!

Yep, I've never been a fan of cars built by the "Big Name" shops that are all over the forums. They tend to do "Movie" quality work, which if you've ever seen a Hollywood car in person you know they look good from far but are far from good.
Some people are into that, everyone's different. Hopefully they are happy when it's done after they've paid someone to do it. I don't hold anything against them - to each his own.

I've been following for a bit now. Keep the posts a comin' :)

Following for sure, keep the updates coming. I think think reason more people don't comment is because your build is on a whole different level than a lot of ours.

sometimes it feels like no one follows my build and it makes me question if I should keep sharing updates or not.

I guess it depends what kind of interaction you are after.

General accolades? The use of the "like button" is a pretty good indication of who's watching and cares.

Technical discussion? I don't see lots of master fabricators on this forum investing the time to congratulate or collaborate with you. But, no doubt you are inspiring the average person to do more - and it may give them cause to interact.

This project is on a whole other level considering the humble roots of the platform. And for many that is intimidating.

Personally I don't watch a YouTube video and then leave a comment, much less scamper back here to do the same. I document my builds here for my own record keeping (and I enjoy the silly banter).

My only advice is: Enjoy the fact that you are building this for you and sharing it. Come what may.

As the others here above me said, your build is on a much higher level than most others, but that is exactly why I have this thread on my watch/follow list.

I appreciate the follow up, sometimes it feels like no one follows my build and it makes me question if I should keep sharing updates or not.
Thats one way to look at it.

The other is to force them to see what you do. I like that approach better.

I like looking at the pictures of the mock ups and the progress made but like others this build is way beyond my skill level, budget and garage space.

I've been wrapping up my ZL1 build and getting it tuned and dialed in before LS Fest West. Progress on the Regal has been a little slow, but not totally stopped. I am working on building a steering shaft, installing engine travel limiters, and installing the turbos for the next video. I appreciate the follow up, sometimes it feels like no one follows my build and it makes me question if I should keep sharing updates or not.
Lol I feel the same way with my build thread

Are you going port injection or retaining the stock DI system and going port ontop of that?

I stumble on this thread from time to time and it's neat seeing updates.
