Dont make a welding cart out of the heaviest metal you have in the garage. Its a terrible idea, trust me.

Where are you sourcing your rods and tungsten from?

Ck Worldwide LayZR tungsten. Dont worry about any other kinds. It does everything well.

For rod just go to any welding shop
ER70S-2 for general steel.
309L Stainless is versitle for most stainless as is 308L
I use 5356 Aluminum for all my aluminum welding.

You'll want one of these.

Cleaned/sorted/straightened more of the accumulated "stuff". Hung 2 new cabinets and moved one to a different spot.

The #12 cup kit is coming from the Jungle site. Tried to put the most money I could into a Canadian company (the welding rods are Blue Devil, USA!!!)

Going to need something to occupy myself with during this stay at home order... FFS.

Now let's find a big Argon tank.

So this happened today despite the stay at home order... Thank goodness. Got the surveyor in for the radiant floor so the lift installer could plot out the base plates. I was getting a little nervous that the lines were in the way. But, we got a nice clear lane to install it.

It's a 5/8" line so they are going to have to try to hit them now. Everything has been chalked, taped and paint penned to keep the locations for install day.

Forced air has it's advantages.

Making more reasons to never leave the house again. This is going to be a game changer.
