I have a 1985 Buick GN I bought new. I have not driven it in a while (less than 500) miles in 10 years. The idle was alternating high low and I scanned the code it was my MAF sensor. I put a new MAF sensor in and it helped a little. I adjusted the throttle sensor and it is a little better. Does anyone have any ideas???

How old is the gas? 10 years old? I'd try and drain out as much old fuel as possible, change out any fuel filters/clean any strainers and run fresh fuel through it. Then if things don't clear up, start trouble shooting. Gas isn't good forever.

I agree! I use fuel stabilizer and anti alcohol additive but it is due for some new gas!

Tiny holes in injectors will get clogged. Take it for a nice drive.

You might get lucky.

hello people: 500 miles in 10 years wow. Unless you prepped for such a long sleep it could be a bunch of things. Fuel is #1. Drive it man. This would be a good experiment for sea foam fuel cleaner. I'd get some fresh fuel in there add a can of SF and drive it... Don't fill the tank all the way maybe 15 gallons. Speaking of that you might be in for alot more issues than just a ruff idle..If you do the SF please report back...

This will sound a little harsh but, what is the point unless you are going to actually drive it?
