I'll let you know. I'm running a Strange spool in my 8.8 with 35 splines. It's some kinda goofy on the street. Have to step on the throttle when turning at slow speeds ( )I used a spool in my race car. 1000 hp and I never had these issues!!!

I second this lol, stay away from the mini's tho they don't like that dead hooking non senseI used a spool in my race car. 1000 hp and I never had these issues!!!
Not sure who came up with the mini spool and putting all that load on the pin. I guess they figured it was better than the welded spider gear idea!!!!!I discovered the problem with an open, minispool, or clutch style posi is that all the power goes through the center pin. I split the case on my yukon.
The torsen/truetrac style distributes load through multiple gears and shafts.
