glad to see ya, was starting to worry about the problems you had last year, if they'd kept going. looking forward to seeing the progress on the cars, and maybe out at the cruise-in. we're still getting over the covid here, so it may be a couple weeks before I'm out there.

I’ve done really well after last years ordeal. I did take the Indy up to the cruise in last week.

wish I could've made it. I just came out of self isolation, and wife was still in the hospital... will still probably skip this next one as well

Started work on the original harness this evening and wow did those mice do some damage where there was just bare wire. Not much left to repair on this section of harness.

ECM side of the harness is repaired and tidied up now onto the fuse box side of the harness. Thankfully that one isn’t as bad. After that I will start on the dash section of harness I believe it just needed the radio pigtails repaired iirc.

Fuse box side of the engine harness repaired and cleaned up with fresh loom and tape. Onto the dash harness.

Working on dash harness today also have a question I posted in electrical but will also post here. This orange wire beside 0244C on the fuse box I believe goes to this two pin plug on the back of the radio? Also the brown wire that’s on the two pin plug is it spliced into the harness with another brown wire? Reason I ask about the brown wire is i had one spliced in and am unsure of its function however it looked to be original which is why i think it may have went to the plug on the radio. Manual doesn’t really have a good diagram of this and my connector was cut for a aftermarket radio however I’m putting the stock one back in.

The orange should be constant 12 to the radio. I didn't think they had that until after 82? It's for station and clock memory. The brown is probably on the parking light circuit.
