Some track action from Atco Raceway. Taken by Tucci Racing. Guy does some killer videos!
This is the 9.5 pass with a 1.38 60'... it is so crazy how much harder the 1.35 60' looks and how much higher the wheelie is. I am definitely going to have to tie down the front to go a 1.30.

After watching that hit 5 or 6 times I'm asking questions because I don't know sh*t. But first, holy schicks - 1.38 60' - that's gettin' it imo. And only better to come hopefully!

Questions - no squat and not near as much tire flex as I would've guessed, is that you plan? BTW - how much air pressure? How are you planning to limit front spring travel? How does it scale front to back? Antiroll bar installed correct?

And again, repeating myself, nice looking car and GREAT job!!!!!

Looks like a typical Hoosier because of the lettering, but it's actually a radial slick. The car is set up to seperate and it does slightly, but also remember as it wheelies alot more weight goes on the rear tires, so it basically ends up just slightly seperating. I was running 20psi, I have a picture, they are wrinkling alot for a radial.
Car has a trz anti roll bar. I am going to put some bolts thru the upper control arms to limit front end travel before I go back to the track. High 1.20s should be doable in the 60'

The best thing I did for my launch was to spend some money on some good shocks. I had a set of double adjustable QA1's that couldn't control the front end, I also had limiters in it. Then I switched to a set of Afco's that were done by Menscer and it worked so much better.

Been awhile. Ended up putting the high boost pulley on for a nice Father's Day cruise with my oldest son. Car did great, even thought it was almost 90f outside. I was doing some very short highway hits in high gear, starting at like 45-50mph, so a ton of load basically just riding the converter. I was getting some popping out of the exhaust so I figured I was blowing out the spark. I still had the 10 year old Blaster SS coil that I said I would replace during the build but never did, so I bought the HVC II coil, put in new plugs and took the gap down from 0.027 to 0.022 and all the popping when away.

A quick video of me testing to see if the ignition problem was fixed

And a quick video of me and my son leaving for our drive

Sounds like an angry beast !!!!!
It made almost 15psi at only 6000RPM. I cant wait to get it back to the track with this pulley.

So, trz control arms aren't in the budget till the winter so I needed to come up with a way to control front end travel till then.

Very interested in how well this works. I’m hoping to need some similar soon. I was thinking of a similar setup but using a 3/4” bolt.
