I just bought a new radiator and I was reading around, they have their liquid chill it’s recommended but they take any coolant I know my Monte Carlo takes the green stuff but you can’t use any cheap coolant without the packages or whatever because of the build up on the aluminum, the top two recommendations I seen were Toyota red and prestone yellowish green for aluminum would the prestone be okay or do I have to go by owners manual, I seen people say they just throw any coolant in and it doesn’t matter color it’s just all for more money for the company’s but that just sounds a little too far off any help would do 🙏🏽

It doesn't really matter. IMO,it seems like aluminum is more susceptible to corrosion. Corrosion is mostly caused by electrolysis, so make sure the heater core has a ground strap.
Speaking of which, how come there are no provisions to ground the radiator? There should be. Make your own by zipping a self-tapper into a flange YOU CAN SEE BOTH SIDES OF. Then, put 2 rings on a wire or run a braid to the core support.

Theoretically, it could ground through the trans cooler lines on an automatic trans car, since they're connected to the trans case, which is bolted to the engine , which has a ground strap to the firewall
