I'm not familiar with super trap mufflers, I thought I was the first person to think of doing this LOL.

It essentially turns the whole turbo dump pipe into a giant muffler.

I made the perforated tube long enough to reach the bend, hoping that it would cancel out as much of the F-Wave resonance as possible. It has done the job very well.

It was in the pipe when I did the first burnout video.

It's much quieter than my buddies N/A big cam 5.3 with glass pack style mufflers. You can have a normal conversation at idle.

good news, its not beaver springs its Mason Dixon. (y)

The other track we plan on hitting up is Keystone in New Alexandria

those are the only two pictures I took of the silencer. I'll take it out and take some pics this evening. It's nothing special. Just a OD 4inch pipe inside a 4inch ID pipe with one end welded shut, then 2.25 hole drilled in the middle, massaged opened so that a 2.25ID pipe can go through it, and welded up. then I perforated the tube so it didn't completely kill flow. I got the inspiration from the "spark arrester" that was in the factory pipe on on my 450R quad.

Here is the infamous silencer.

Here is how it sounds without it.

After hearing it again with it removed, I don't think I'm putting it back in

Why? Is it quieter with it in?

Asking because I’m in progress of making a 4” dump streetable for 1000+ miles. I’m not
Concerned about power loss when it’s hooked up/installed.

That thing you have looks super easy to put in and remove quickly.

If you whip one of these up I think you'll be very happy with how it sounds for a long trip. The turbo sucking in air and the tires squealing when spinning make more noise than the exhaust. My friends are amazed by it lol. Honestly me too, it far exceeded my expectations for quieting it down.

And yes, it is very easy to pop in and out, only takes loosening one bolt lol
