Thanks everyone! Definitely a lot of hours. Next on the list will be bucket seats and a manual transmission. I like the Transam seats, probably going to do that. I’ve got the hood tach🙂and inside there is the full guages but I am still trying to find an original silver faced tach for the dash. Almost impossible to find…

I've got to chime in and agree that this GP is very nicely and tastefully done. I'm a Cutlass guy myself, but I really like all these 78-80 model A/G Bodies with the full chrome bumpers. Your shaker hood and tach look just right on the Pontiac. I appreciate how you kept the chrome center trim up to the shaker as well. I've thought about putting an Olds style dual raim air hood on my current 79 Cutlass, and would want to keep the center chrome strip. While the shaker looks cool, period, I wouldn't put it on my Cutlass, as it would seem inappropriate to me.

I also like the understated vibe of the white. I'd consider dark blue buckets and rear seat, but that's just my eye. Gorgeous car as it is.

Nothing beats a beautifully executed theme car.

Thank you!
If Pontiac built it I thought that more than likely they would continue with the chrome center trim. Thought it should be there. I really like the dual ram air on the Olds but the old ram airs are too big for that hood. It would be a tough to get that dimensionally correct but if you could it would look awesome! My next step is definitely going to be front buckets but in the 1978 Madrid vinyl #3608 color and the 1977 Transam custom style buckets with the same vertical pleats so everything would match. 🙂

Wow!!!
You have a spectacular, well thought out rod. Kudos!
I love what you've done so far, and it sounds like what you have planned will make it even MORE righteous!!!
