Houston, TX.
I received mine today. Looks just like the one Frank received. Arrived with no damage. It will be a few months before I actually install it, so I'm looking forward to hearing from you guys about the install/fitment.

I just had my condenser flushed. Worked great. It's the original -1984 regal . Was sitting without freon but "closed" . Compressor grenaded and had junk in the system, orifice tube clogged. Bought a gallon of flush from acdelco.com, along with a drier kit with o-rings, compressor, orifice tubes, and recharged with R12. Works like new. Blows out 58 degree air all day. In 98 degree Maryland humid air.
I wanted it to stay original.

One more thing. I found a replacement condenser on the classic industries site. The only place I found an oem type. It's on backorder, and should be available in a month or two. It's $89. That is the cheapest one I found. You have to preorder to hold your place, but they don't charge until available.
I saw the parallel flow one in the thread, it will work with R12 or 134a
I flushed mine so I cancelled my order.

Hi guys, so I completed the repairs and replacements of parts for my (oem) A/C system and it's working extremely well. Here's a summary of what I did.

Replace condenser with parallel flow unit (as noted in this thread). I notice since I posted that eBay listing, they are now SOLD OUT...I don't think that's a coincidence? It fit perfectly in the original rubber mounts.
Replace compressor, 4 Seasons NEW R4
Replace belt tensioner, just was time probably would have been fine.
Replace suction/discharge hose assembly 4 Seasons
Replace accumulator 4 Seasons
Replace pressure cycling switch for R134a use, 4 Seasons
Replace/Repair Orifice Tube/Pipe 4 Seasons, my existing evaporator orifice tube line was bent, and wasn't able to straighten to my liking so repaired it as shown in pics
Replace ALL O-rings with R134a ones, as well as add (R4 required) PAG-150

Flush out Evaporator core with two cans of flush.

Add Hi Pressure Sensor to the Condenser Outlet fitting, this is an input to the Holley EFI for possible cooling fan fine control in future, and data logging.
- Senses 0 - 399 psi
Add SPAL 13" PUSHER fan on Condenser wired with RESISTOR for two speed Hi/Lo operation. When A/C turned on by dash control head, pusher fan comes on half speed (through resistor), when trinary switch hits 254 psi, it switches to FULL speed (bypass resistor).
Note: I've had the two PULLER SPAL fans installed for awhile controlled by the Holley EFI and C6 PWM fan module. They remain independent (for now) of the A/C Pusher, and work off coolant temp only.
Add Vintage Air Trinary Switch to control PUSHER fan, and protect Compressor from Low or High refrigerant pressures.
- Closes between 30 and 405 psi
- Closes at 254 psi
Add R134a Lo and Hi side Service Port Fittings

Pulled vacuum on system, and added 2lbs 4oz of R134a (3 12oz cans) and so far so good. Outlet temp down to 40 degrees idling in garage on 91 degree day.

Diagram of Fan/Compressor Control and Sensor wiring included in pics below.

Next project is to rework the DASH / GAUGES and re-instate the original A/C VENTS in center of dash. The drilled holes I made many years ago, work "ok", but won't give the same volume of air as with the original vents. I'm considering using some 3D printed pieces through a seller on eBay here --> https://www.ebay.com/itm/1742788078...d=link&campid=5335822911&toolid=20001&mkevt=1

End result is some ice cold A/C finally after many years of not working. Happy to answer any questions, just let me know.

**Note, this is compressor for 1988 CAMARO because I’m using that OEM Serpentine Belt system on mine which is the correct 6 groove PULLEY I needed. If you’re using V Belts system, you may need to lookup the correct R4 A/C Compressor with the appropriate 1 groove V belt pulley. I used mostly RockAuto for everything, but did do a lot of research using Four Seasons online (and downloadable) Illustrated Product Guide.
