I picked up an entire set of 2010 Camaro seats with the hopes of using the front buckets in my 79 Monte. I know there will be a little work that needs to be done to mount them.
My car currently has the 60/40 split in front and from what I've read that seat has the same frames as the buckets.

Two Questions:
1. Will they fit? The reason I ask this is because on one of the car shows I watch, someone was trying to do this on a later (86) model and they said they were too high.
2. If they will fit. Should go the route of swapping the frames or have a new mount welded up for the Camaro seat frames.

Thanks!

1. If you live close to NJ, I might be interested in your 60/40 split seats.
2. Back in 2000 or so I installed 1990 IROC power seats in my 79 malibu. I had t make my own brackets and tap into the fuse panel for power. Not that big a deal. They never actually centered but it was close enough that it didn't matter. Unless you had a measuring tape you'd never know.

Good luck.
