I just got finished dealing with a problem with Gbody parts. I bought the upper door panels kit from them in March 21. When they arrived both were damaged. Very noticeable. I emailed them (no phone number) and explained. Got an RMA and sent them back. I heard nothing and I finally emailed them about 3 weeks later.
That's when the run around started. Instead of apologizing and replacing them they said they had to send them back to the manufacturer and wait for their resolution. Which is BS. That should have been a swap for damage and new panels sent to me.
I went back and forth through email for months until July, when Gbody stopped responding. I contacted my CC company and they took over. I finally was refunded on Friday, 3 , September. It took 5 months to get my refund, and no thanks to Gbody. Haven't received an email since early July.
BEWARE DEALING WITH THEM. USE A GOOD CC THAT HAS A PROTECTION PLAN. Needless to say, no more business with them.

Terrible customer service! It couldn't get any worse. This type of business model has been the norm for them, for years now.
It's too bad... By working with manufactures, Brian has brought to market some nice stuff for our cars. He should learn how to do business differently.

it's odd,he's been in business for a long time and from what I understand has quite the warehouse.the last year car craft was in print they did a spread on his vast gbody knowledge and his collection of low mile examples.they painted a much different story than what the customer's experience.there's two sides to a story but hearing the same story over and over..

No, my CC company got me the refund. I now have to get them from someone else. I did other business with them, and things went OK. But with this, they kept giving me the run around, and just quit responding to my emails. No phone, so can't talk.

I agree, I was a Car Craft subscriber, and saw that article. I did other business, and it was OK. Just letting people know to beware.

Now you too, wear the mark....don't worry, you're not the first, and likely not the last.

There's a difference of having 20 years of experience, and having 1 year's experience 20 times when it comes to good business practices.
