T56 to LS bellhousing bolt pattern help?

Getting ready to mate the t56 to bellhousing on engine and before I did I noticed that the holes from t56 to bell are not the same pattern. Am I suppose to just not use one of the holes on the t56 and bell?, Kinda how like the ls bell doesn’t use a hole on the SBC. Weird because I’ve been looking for maybe a bell that has this same bolt pattern but no luck and even the pics from gm performance connect and cruise use the same setup and I see the same problem. Circled where I see the problem on pics

Pure guess here but after multiple back-n-forths from pic to pic, I think that you use the top pair of holes, the next one down on each side, and then the bottom two. That makes six in all. NOT sure at all here but the pics seem to tell me to ignore the the two offset holes entirely and just go with the matched ones. If there is an odd bolt boss and flange hole that match up then maybe they do get a bolt (or Not) Will definitely accept any and all criticism of my logic and thinking on this.
Also curious on one other point here. Does the input shaft on that T56 need to have a matching support bushing installed in the crank flange? There looks to be the drilling done for one in the flange but I am not seeing a bushing resident. Maybe angle of the pic or light or??

Yes I was thinking maybe ignoring a hole but just wanted to make sure since I’ve never done this but like you said anyone with more knowledge on this please help or confirm. I’m not exactly sure what you mean by support bushing but I do know I’m missing the pilot bearing? This is just a mock-up block tho to see where I need to make cuts for the shifter to come up, everything will come out again for the actual engine.

That t56 looks like a tr6060 or magnum.

Do you have everything on hand?

Ah, suggested the bushing simply due to being unsure of whether that t-mission did run a solid bronze insert or actually a Torrington or INA needle bearing style input carrier instead. On the subject of the holes, I can only let myself be guided by the physical architecture of the block and the bellhousing and the mounting flange of the t-mission body. I am thinking that, prior to moving forward with that mockup, you sacrifice a bearing or bushing for the cause and pop it into the crank flange. That way the input shaft lines up absolutely correctly and the the flange holes and their presumed matching bellhousing bosses will either follow suit or show you where things don't mate or align.

Possible the Magnum series have additional holes that the LS bellhousing does not for Ford or Dodge oem applications.

If all the holes in the bell housing are used I wouldn't worry if one hole in the trans isn't used.

Ok yeah everything online was leading me back to the same bellhousing I have just wanted to make sure I wasn’t messing up if there was a correct bellhousing and actually the only bellhousing I can find that uses all the holes is the QuickTime one, it actually had the two bolt patterns which is nice but pricey and I’m just wanting to have a street car no track use. Bowler one actually says t56 magnum and would have the same bolt pattern as mines from American powertrain🤷‍♂️
