Are you saying you currently have an Edelbrock intake and want to swap it for the one posted, if so what is the advantage of going with the Holley?

Yes, i currently have the Edelbrock. Mainly Reason is. They don't have a 4bbl carb under 500cfm and for the engine is almost all stock... It is still way too much for it. The 2bbl carb originally was in the mid-300s I believe. I am that kind of guy who needs to have everything "matching" brand-specific. haha, I looked 2 years for the V6 Valve covers, and I got a 390cfm 4bbl from a friend. But I'd like to have the intake. Not sure on the improvements, not much info out there on that.

I have always ran Edelbrock intakes with Holley carbs and they work well together.

I assume that Street Dominator is single plain, all them are, I believe. Your Edelbrock is a dual plane, correct? Apparently less low end torque is the goal?

Not sure, haha. I think the Holley is dual too? I prefer the quality of better appearance. lol. The eng is complete stock anyways.

the last edelbrock i had was a 750. way too big for the engine. the eng is already converted to 4bbl. No adaptor needed

Before Edelbrock got into the carb game the combo most ran was a Edelbrock intake with a Holley. That's what I'm currently set up with.

If this is your current intake I will bet that it perform better than the Holley you posted
It is a true dual plane since the divider is not cut down like the Holley and it is a square bore carb bolt pattern like your 390 instead of a spreadbore design with dual bolt pattern.

'86-87 Turbo Buicks have single plane intakes... they drive just fine off boost.

N/A Buick V6s don't make enough power to notice a few foot pounds difference.
