My Monte Carlo has started pulling to the right when accelerating. Once I let off the gas it goes back to the left. This only happens when I'm on the freeway or driving 50 mph. Tie bars are in good condition everything is greased up and sturdy in the front end. What else can it be?

My 1,000 mile away guess would be worn out front or rear control arm bushings, or a poor alignment.

Could really be anything in the suspension or steering that has some play in it.

I had that happen on a 57 chevy after I put in a posi rear end back in the sixties. Turned out I had two different size tires on the back. Stopped pulling to one side after I put matched tires on. Only happened during acceleration at a higher speed.

Tires match.

Any spirited driving in the recent past? The rear control arm mounts can start tearing loose from the frame and cause the rear end to walk around when you're on the gas.

The fact that it pulls in either direction based on throttle input makes me lean heavily toward something rubber being hammered. How old are the front and rear upper and lower control arm bushings? My dually and wife's Envoy both did this and both had hammered control arm bushings.
