Lucky, lucky, lucky man.

Only thing my brother in laws ever given me has been grief.

Thanks for the comments. You never have enough garage space. Originally I bought an acre with a little house and garage. Later built my dream house with attached garage (holds 3 cars plus 1 in my shop) and sold the cottage to my farmer neighbour who moved it down the road as a help house. I still have the garage from the little house. The Elky project waits its turn there. It's rough but I have everything to build it. it will have to be body off.

Then there is the 29 highboy project in the drive shed with the '29 coach. It's half my building, half my neighbour's. LOL Currently it has a 78 Turbo Regal 231. Some day. Good thing I retired in 2019.

Fortunately my peach farmer nephew who lives less than 4 miles away bought a farm with a chicken barn that he didn't have a official use for. Spray foam insulated too.

It's usually full in the winter with cars or boats.

The Pontiac and Impala spend the winter there. I learned the previous winter that you shouldn't leave your car with only a part tank of fuel in the winter or the steel tank will rust. Had to drop the tank, clean it, new fuel pump etc.

Usually it's $120 a license sticker every year. In Ontario we have a provincial election coming up. The premier just announced that they have dropped the annual sticker fee. Probably an election ploy but it works for me. Usually I can only afford two extra hot rods on the road in the summer. I keep fire and theft insurance on them all and add liability for the summer. The Pontiac and Impala are ready to go. This summer I might be able to afford the T and 56 if they are functioning. I better get back to work in the shop! Spring is coming fast.

Sorry to hear you BIL is not doing well , nice of him to think of you and reconnect in this way .
He’s probably been doing a bit of planning and a lot of reminiscing
I don’t know you of course but I hope you guys get close again and you drive the hell out of that car
That would be the best part of the story 👍

I joke that I pretty boring. I still drive my first car, live in my first house and am still married to my first wife. I have kids and grand kids. My brother-in-law, still single, built a successful business but now doesn't have any family. He's pretty reclusive but I hope the car will help me reach out to him. That would be great.
