There are a lot of changes that I would like to make to my 12 bolt And I am thinking that a Bolt in 9-in Just makes more sense. How many people here have a quick performance 9-in in their g-body? Are you happy with it what brakes do you have on it and would you buy it again? Thanks in advance

I have one. DONT GET THE LATE MODEL F BODY BILLET ENDS. The brakes don't fit with almost any 15" rims with G body backspacing. Go with new style big Ford ends, much better disc brake selection.

That is good to know!!!?! Thank you. What disc brakes work with the late model Ford ends? Explorer? To be honest the choices are overwhelming

I bought and installed one on my 87 Regal project. I have not been able to put it to use quite yet :-( but it fit perfectly and was not overly expensive imo even with the wilwood kit. I went with the big Ford ends. Qp customer service was very helpful and knowledgeable.
I would definitely buy again and highly recommend the company. 20210303_181247.jpg 20210304_222701.jpg
Only suggestion is to make your brake selection and stick with it. I decided to go with Wilwood instead of a qp disc option after I received it thinking I could just save up $$ and easily swap. Wrong that resulted in axel flange clearance issues and required me to ship back and wait for retooling. Also my brake kit cost over $800 from summit, but if you select the option in rear end package the Wildwood 7140 is a $500 add on with parking brake. So it cost me $300 and two weeks time. Live and learn.

Some 80s and 90s Lincoln/Mercury big cars and truck stuff. To be honest I'm not sure of specifics but find an 11" rotor setup and it's pretty much guaranteed to work with 15" rims. Wilwood has some good detail on their site that should get you started.

A little Google time and you'll be down a happy path.

Otherwise it's a badass setup, customer service was good to me also, sorted out some incorrect hardware they shipped to me originally quite quickly.

What exactly is the LS setup? Is it from a fourth gen Camaro? I probably spent a couple hrs today googling and researching. I currently have a 12 bolt in the car but it's need a few things to make it exactly the way I want. I figure if I sold it I'm halfway to a 9"

LS Fbody. So 98-02 F body brakes. They are 12.2" rotors and the calipers stick out farther than the wheel face about 0.1" and are 7.25" from the rotation center of the wheel. Not a lot of 15" wheels with 0 offset will clear. 17" is no problem, and most 16" wheels are no problem.
