I came in to correct your spelling of Upgrayedd, but now I'll just carry on.
The joke is it's got two Gs because it's a G body, instead of two Ds for a double dose of pimping. But I'm also an idiot and not funny, so my jokes often fall flat. :friday:

No, I just couldn't see the full title until I clicked the thread. Then it made sense.

Yeah, it wasn't supposed to be a documentary.

Anywho, every time I drive this car I fall more in love with it. Some other little things I've got going on that I'm open to ideas on...

-Turn signals are really slow, but all the bulbs seem to be working, so I swapped the flasher with a newer style one... I just figured it was an original and probably no good. Still slow. I could just dump a digital one in I think (maybe, not sure?), but I can't really fathom why it doesn't work right when everything seems right. I guess I should check the part numbers on all the bulbs, maybe there is some wrong ones in it.

-The transmission just feels like it's a slushy slippy nothing in first gear. I figured this was normal originally, but now I'm not certain. Is there a band adjustment for it? I tried to adjust the TV cable but the adjuster feels like it's totally seized and will break, but the cable does have some tension with the throttle closed, and lots at full, so I think it's correct. Is there something else I should look at, or is this fairly normal given the TC won't be locked? It's the 200-4R I believe. Seems fine in every other gear and shifts reasonably.

-I need cupholders. Just about had a disaster today because of that. I'm sure I can do my own research into this though.

I picked up this Grant 404 F (I think) steering wheel for $60 USD equivalent. Seemed like a score, it's new, probably an open box return, but I now know why the reviews on them are all over the place. Definitely not high quality.

The wood is way too light too, it's definitely much darker in their/my picture than in natural light. I think I might drill all the pieces off and try giving them a light sanding and stain them. I could possibly do it with them still on there too, but it might just turn into a huge mess. Anyone had any luck with that? Any idea of a stain colour that matches the fake wood dash? It's definitely darker and redder.

Finally found some time at work to put in the interior in the back.

I tried reattaching that headliner with 3M Super77, and I sure screwed it up. I did realize using it above your head in an enclosed space is absolutely not pleasant. Whatever, at least the headliner is not straight up flapping in the breeze when I have the windows down. If I ever pull the whole headliner I'll fix it better.

I couldn't get the rear lower seat cushion to release, so I didn't put in the seatbelts for the back seat. Seems like it's bent. It's probably seen some action. ;)

Also found more random parts under the pile of interior bits. Jute pad for who knows what? And probably a taillight harness? This thing has come with at least a few straight up non-Cutlass parts, so it's difficult to sort through some of this sh*t.

My lowering parts finally all arrived (thanks eBay for your absolutely ridiculously slow shipping to Canaduh). So maybe I'll get to that in a week or so, my shop is still tied up with other problems for the time being. Maybe before then I'll have time to refinish that steering wheel and swap it out.
