If tires weren't so damn expensive right now I would be doing rolling burnouts daily.

For comparison here is a stock(?) Charger Hellcat on a drag radial. She is a regular at the track so this is pretty indicative of what normal Hellcat performance looks like here.

Yes, that is my 13.

Your modded 13 second HC to her stock 11 second HC? Granted there 1.3+ locked up in the 60', but still if this is the case shouldn't your mph be higher?

I never shifted into 4th on that first run, plus I was launching it for the first time (on a new combo) in over a year and a half, I was learning the track and worried about finding the return road. Best trap speed sans-giggle juice, as above, was 119ish. There is a lot of time lost between shifts (.600 seconds from memory). So we can extrapolate that however we want.

Note how much MPH the car picks up on the back end.

For a stock power stick car it is doing pretty well... even with this chimp piloting it.

Seems it'd be better to compare that 11.9 to your best pull of the day or was that it?

I am not comparing anything. Just providing examples and information. My car runs what it runs, simple as that. I can just keep cranking up the nitrous if I need to feel better about my car or have something to prove or need internet points. And I just might. ;)

I'd see it as a goal post were it me. She damn sure gets out of the hole (giggity!) better than you do. Is she an auto? Or is that even a thing?

Auto, and that is the difference maker. The best drivers can get a stock A8 car into the 1.5 to 1.6 second range for the 60'. Between the slower 60' and time lost shifting it is why the stick cars are usually a second slower than their automatic counterparts.

I am focusing on making the car lighter to improve the overall dynamics of the car. It's weight loss may end up being worth a tenth or two.

Ahh. Yeah it's gonna take some anger, determination, and hatred to make up that kind of ground without big power adders and a good launch.

Completely forgot I ordered these rear control arm alignment bushings. Amazon sent them to the post office. Derp.

This will stand the rear tires up from the -1* to something closer to 0*. Demon specs.

You can't just align the car the way you want without those? Usually you can't get enough negative camber on a stock vehicular.
