24 hour marinade in Dr. Pepper, then broiled in it at 350*F. 3L of Dr. Pepper reduced to syrup and turned into BBQ sauce. The glazed for 45mins.

Bringing this back again. Gonna sit in the smoker for awhile over some hickory chips.

Sold a rusty 42" Troy bilt mowing deck for $125, pure profit off the parts mower that paid for itself already.

Made a 12x10x7 ft brush pile to burn by clearing out some of the back of the lot. Probably burn that off tomorrow.

I'd put the job about 1/3 to 1/2 done excluding the mowing to clean up the leftovers. It was a tough decision between maintaining buffer and space, but, the extra space wins out considering long term plans.

So now the day is done, time for Sunday dinner and rest

It's after 3 and I'm just stopping for lunch ran into a few snags today do to my lack of experience. Could not get that cp3 in come to find I had the adapter clocked wrong. Then it didn't want to go back in the gear drive but I found that rocking the rotating assembly back and forth helps. After that a assembled the second head and prepped the other side of the block.

So there's the boost make it happener and the boost holder inner. LoL I waited to eat until I had made a milestone and I think 2 heads and a cp3 installed is an accomplishment.

Now I'm going to eat my Wawa sub and see what you all are up to before I get back at it.

Missed the mark a little with the sauce cause I was trying for a slightly different flavor.

Eh.... so much for rest.

So, I got told the camaro had a little 'mishap' while I was trying to rest.

Lower fascia/splitter has a crack or a deep deep scratch well beyond nail catch territory.

So. I'd like to try to pop it out myself, maybe with a block and crowbar? Really as I've said before, it's not a car I'm willing to put money into.

Add it to the list of annoyances.

Look into calling a painless dent repair guy you might be supposed we actually call them to the body shop quite often and some of them are really good šŸ‘

I had to call it a night the heat was getting to me and I couldn't find a feeler gauge to adjust the valves. But the valve train is in and Eric is stopping by after work tomorrow to help me adjust it.

Hopefully after it's adjusted I don't have much problem putting the fuel system back together. It's Ben so long I'm having a hard time remembering how it all goes back on. These Duramax engines are quite the puzzle. There's just way to many parts jammed in to small of space. It's not that I don't know what goes where it's what goes first and how to fish it threw.

Maybe... I just hate to put money into something that just sits there and personally I don't want most of the time. Still haven't figured out exactly how it happened either.

Well, *some* of them I use, occasionally doing the search function to find something from a couple years ago.
So before you sh*t can the lot, you take a fast run through the list and either check or uncheck the ones you want to keep. I have at least a half year or more of e-mail waiting for me to visit the site and dump them. Most of them are duplicates of what I get in Outlook so off to the land of deletion they go. As you noted it is a time killer but something to do when there is nothing on the boobtube or the paint has been shot but needs to cure.
