Just got a new to me century wagon with a 300 Pontiac v8. Eventually going to put a sbc in it with nitrous but for now is there any performance worth doing to the 300? Also are the 300 headers the same that would fit a sbc? Thank you guys I’m excited! Always wanted one of these g body wagons!

If it’s a 301 Pontiac, the headers are not interchangeable with a small block Chevy. Two completely different engines. Good luck with your new project!

If its your intention to convert the car to SBC, and it has the 301 Pontiac in it now, I would say don't do too much with the Pontiac engine, other than keeping it running, until you do the swap. There is very little on the Pontiac engine (other than probably distributor cap & rotor), that will be transferable to the SBC, and that includes engine mounts and accessory belt drives. Good luck with your swap.

Love the wagon! Glad its gone to someone who will love and respect it for what it is and save it from a not so favorable fate!

Welcome to the GBodyForum!
Nice wagon. It's nice to get the car you've always wanted. This forum is made up of guys just like you, having the cars we've always wanted. There is a lot of knowledge here and we all want to see you build the car of your dreams. Good luck with your build. Make that wagon yours.
It looks like you live in the SW US by the looks of those houses in the back ground.

Nice to see another AZ member here!

Good looking wagon, good look with the changes too. I think those Poncho mounts might be worth something once you do the swap, something in my memory says I saw those being searched for once or twice on the board here but I could be wrong. I've learned not to get rid of much parts unless theyre going to another car guy or what have you. I've always seemed to need to go back to it once I did get rid of it.
