Thanks guys. Researching orbital polishers for corrections and cutting compounds. Any recommendations appreciated greatly. Summit recommends 1500 wet sand to start not including the run repairs.
I've got time to research and still have to paint front fenders and strip and bodywork the hood.

Un masking and booth tear down. I am not happy with the striping on the roof and hope the many hours of sanding will make it better. One good thing is the booth filtration must've worked well because I can't find any dirt anywhere. Yet anyway. Now re build the booth on other side of garage for hood and fenders. Almost forgot what engine looked like.

a thought occurs to me after this last post, which is "how the hll does the factory paint so many cars w/o having to do multiple touchups or re-do's?" come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen a video of the assembly line showing the paint process.

Don't know how it was when these cars were made but I'm pretty sure it's all robotics now. I've seen two robotic arms spraying a car from each side. How do they prep, I have no clue.

Just more clean up and some sound deadening. Amazed at how much sanding debris got into engine compartment with it being covered.
