What benefits can I get if I insert an audi injector in my rochester quadrajet carburetor with a 231 GM 3.8 Liter engine? This gasoline injector will be electrically activated and will inject fuel through the vacuum line when the pedal is almost at the bottom.

Since I observed that the large venturis do not open at high engine speed.

My idea is that the wheels spin from first to second gear when I change to the TH 200 4R gearbox.

A hug from Venezuela!!!. :coffee::lightsab:

It's possible to get more power with a 4bbl on the non-turbo 3.8L, if you install a hot cam. But then you also want higher compression and headers.

By "not pulling the secondaries open," do you mean the airvanes in the airhorn or the secondary throttle plates in the base are not opening? Keep in mind that the upper airvanes generally will not open from just reving the engine in park. There must be a load on the engine for them to open.

Air-fuel ratio is a balance. This is why carburetors need to be tuned. Making efficient use across a wide range of engine speeds requires compromise. You can 'tune' a carb to optimize it at a specific narrow range such high RPM in drag racing, at the cost of making it run poorly at the other end of the range.

So, that's where the turbo or supercharger comes in. Stiff more air in there and more fuel, you can make more power. But an engine is like a pump. There are limits, mostly having to do with the intake, valves and combustion cambers. Blow through a McDonald's straw. you can blow harder, but there's an upper limit to how much air you can stuff through it.

So the short answer is - dumping more fuel, without designing how to burn it, will not get you much more power. It will bog the engine and make things worse, if not washing all the oil away and ruining the engine.

Thanks for your time. I will have in project the headers direct outlets of the exhaust pipe 🔥🙏🚗

I have the secondary gates of the carburetor open, they are free. The tests I've done have been at full throttle in Park. I think you are right about that brother. 👍

Grateful for such an extensive and good technical specification. May GOD bless you for it 🙏

This is a joke, right? Anything can be stuffed into anything. Take the carb out completely and build a plate to hold the infector over the manifold bores. Will it work, who knows. I put pesos on it that it will not even start!
