That's not even close to an instrument panel column cover. That's an insulated under-dash panel. More for sound control on cars with A/C. The pic you show is for the passenger side. The driver side would have an access panel for the fusebox.

Based on the parts information, this is what I deciphered. Use it at your own risk.

80-88 (with CCC) 25504878 for RH for all the G-bodies I've seen. 78-81 without CCC is a little different. I suppose for the space needed for the computer if the car had one is why it was different.

OLDS/BUICK/PONT shows:
78-88 25511659 for LH.

MONTE shows:
82-88 14035729 for LH. I'm guessing if Mailbu and Elky used one, since they share the same dash...might be the same p/n. Not sure.

This is for Gas engines with A/C. They're listed as absorbers and Insulators. Diesel cars used a different part number. Don't know the difference between them, though.

25511659 is what I narrowed it down to yesterday and found on ebay. Looking under my dash and comparing it to the image, it's the closest that I see. Thanks.

Let's try this a different way. Can you take us a picture of the empty space you're trying to fill? Then we can tell you EXACTLY what it is
