That’ll probably go on the tool cabinet haha
There’s this guy with a yellow el Camino (I think he’s called yellow elky or something like that) who got the c5 or c6 mirrors on his car, saw it in person but I could tell it was a lot of work. I still have the pair of aero mirrors from the original doors but I know they sit a little future up on the door

wasn't me,i'm running stock mirrors

I’ll definitely look into that. Was it hard to make the passenger mirror power? Just thinking about having to wire behind the dashboard.

It wasn’t hard, takes some time but on montecarloss.com, I believe, someone posted a thread with some info. Just need to find a diagram or schematic so you know what wires are which obviously, running behind the dash isn’t that hard if you haven’t been under or behind it before, there are plenty of spaces to run or fish wire through. Going through the door jambs was a little bit of a pain though, gets tight on the body side if you have power windows/locks.

Gotcha. I got power on both but the window motors are pretty slow. Was thinking of buying the faster motors that Dixie makes so if I'm in there switching the motor out I should probably look into it too

Yeah that's the one I was looking into. I guess I'd just replace the current motor in the door panels, but some I saw plugged into the computer board under the dash/near firewall

When looking on MCSS forum don't get sucked into the guy selling the window kit that will do auto up and down, I did and have only been able to get the down to work with no response from the seller
