Working on the car again, swapping front springs and going to Delrin bushings on the front A-Arms. Has anyone made braces for their front A-arm mounts? My buddy's 78 TA has these bolted on brackets. I was thinking of making something simliilar, but I think just adding a brace between the mounting ear and the frarme might accomplish the same thing. Thoughts?

If you plan to do a bunch of hard road type racing, then sure. But for a street driver or straight line racing application not really needed. If you want to support something with a stock setup, then weld in supports for the rear arm mounts, rear bumper pads, rear upper shock towers and a rear seat brace.

Just a street car that I have fun improving, so far all the braces do make it more solidly feeling. I've already made all the braces for the rear, just wondering why the difference on the F-body verus G-body on the A-arms. The GP brace and the A-body core support braces seem to be all the front braces that were offered.
