A lot is changing.

I'm going thru the big D at the moment, (no not that one the other one) so if I'm not really present that much, I'm trying to get all my sh*t moved here to the big metropolis of Rolla, MO where I'm taking over the house we bought for both kids to use during college instead of paying dorm costs (really it worked out well) ..... so yeah. Probably gonna have to move the cars/parts up to the farm in WI bc this place is barely big enough for even one car let alone parts and tools and junk. And well, I'm basically broke which is fun so no renting a garage or storage etc.. Don't want to sell one of the girls but it might come to that.

But enough about me. This forum has been awesome to admin, and looking at the general "forum scape" out there, I have GOT to make some changes.

Yeah I know what you're thinking. PANIC. It won't be like that. this thing is kind of a dinosaur and its not cutting it as far as google goes. Gotta trim some fat, modernize some things, get rid of some, add others, etc. Right now its kind of a mashup of 15 year old stuff under 10 year old stuff with some 5 year old stuff on top. Whether that means a total platform change (god I hope not) or what Idk. I mean the site is old enough to vote now, and I do NOT want to let it just fade away into archive.org's past.

And I'll probably take and merge this under the GBodyNation flag just to get away from the "****forum" thing. So hang onto those GBF stickers bc they're gonna be worth big money in 30 years. lol.

That said I'm open to suggestions for things to change, add, remove, etc. What to do with the social media channels (which I've basically ignored) and get more people, recognition, (sponsors cough) and the like. and yes page views. I'm not coin operated, but sh*t, if other people can make a living doing this then so can I. (this is not my only web property, and I'm starting some other new things, too.)

I hope everything works out for you as well as possible.
I do like the layout of this site. It's easy to read and navigate. The MalibuRacing site is too dark and hard to see. Keep up the good work and good luck with your big D.

Change happens. Good, bad, and indifferent. Sometimes good things come out of the worst circumstances as well. So keep the chin up.

So many other sites have dried up, basically withered on the vine. At the same.time, need to try not to become "new coke" because then you're just left in no-mans-land.

Meanwhile, to give a bighter lining to the news itself, am I the only person getting visions of Old School from this quote?

The only other forum I have enjoyed using is tacomaworld.com it is modern and pretty well laid out. No complaints from me when it comes to this forum at all!

Sux about the big-D. There's more than one of us here that's been there/done that so reach out if you need to vent.

As far as site change.... Whatever works better for you, we can likely adapt to. This site is as good as the '67-72Chevytrucks' forum I've been a member of for >20yrs as far as members & contributing goes. Great place for g-body enthusiasts & it's my #1 recommendation when people inquire about my 'Bu and/or g-body specific stuff.
