Hey quick question for you Aero fans. Do you think the site in general is "hostile" towards the Buttless I mean Aero cars? I think we've got a pretty core group of fans that love them to death and have been cheerleaders for them, helping to push them a little further towards acceptance. What say you guys? I have reasons for asking, but wondering what you fans think the general attitude toward these cars is. TIA.

I appreciate the question. I personally think there is a respect for them amongst the G enthusiast as a whole, and of course us die hard fans, however there are a few nasty people on here id like to slap right in their puss with some of their disrespectful comments, but I guess you'll get that no matter where you go these days. to me, respect is everything. Again, thank you for this awesome website and the time an energy you put into it for our enjoyment, and how your always striving to make the experience better than the one before! ---Will

I think I know where this question came from, but I don't believe there is any hostility towards the Aero cars. I'm first to admit, these are a love it or hate it body style... but they are G bodys. They are rare, unique, and you don't see them on the road very often. I'm lucky to own Aero and Coupe G Bodys. We will see soon enough when my Salon is done how the Forum reacts. I think it will be one of the nicest / coolest Aeros on the Forum, " Butt" in the end, it's my car & my $$$, so I don't really care what others think. BTW - I love how passionate Will is about these cars.

I don't think its a lack of respect as much as its penis envy. There are a couple of dick swingers on here who feel that their opinions of what a car should be(must be like theirs), should be law. I don't care. There are plenty of open minded members who, like us, love the fact that we have a place to gather and enjoy each others uniqueness.
I , like some others, have been fortunate to have several cars to enjoy and i will make them as i want. Some original and some are modified. The mental pygmies don't run me or my world. They can just put their head back in the hole they pulled it from .

There are some people that if it is not the popular car, then it is no good. I have two of these cars and enjoy them both. My 4 door is a great sleeper and the sport coupe is a nice unique look, one of the better aerobacks out there, in my opinion.

It doesn't matter to me if anybody likes my 79 Turbo Coupe. I personally like most cars, but especially the ones that you rarely see. I love the 57 Chevy, but if I see a 57 Ford right next to it, I'll check the Ford out every time. I also have a Facebook page dedicated to these cars.
