It didn't seem to be hitting , i thought the same thing . Will year it back apart sometime this week and look at it a little better.

My issues

Installed new can and new springs. Here is a pic

alright tore it apart, replace the cam,which was fine. springs are there also. so tried it with everything apart and of course left turn is good. the right just wont make it over enough to light turn signal and lock in. however i can manually push the cam and lock it with no problem.

83 malibu wagon. Just bought the car and working on a few problems. Nine of the Instrument lights work. The turn signal and high beam lights do work. The fuse is good and I haven't pulled it apart to check all the bulbs(will be this weekend , just trying to get info before tearing it down)...

Well I have the cam and springs on order. So this weekend I will dig and see what's going on.

You have to pull the wheel for cam or switch right? If so I may just swap them both while it's apart.

83 malibu wagon turn signal switch won't lock or turn on for right side. Left clicks on fine. Is this the switch?
