My 61 had 4.10 gears and 27 inch tires. 2800 stall. 3800 rpm at 65. Something is a miss.

Pic is worth nothing in this case. i need to see it. Looks like fluid in 3rd pic to me. I'd try a hone. If it is above and below the ring reversals I'd run it.

You guys are all nuts. To each his own. you can spend to much on any engine and there is always one better. What about the 6.2? Buy one of those. For me I want a 6.4 hemi in my wagon. I will NEVER have a LS in my 65 Biscayne. Over priced 409/447 for that one. And an LS can out run...
