    Wiring harness comparison-will it work?

i feel this is similar to my question. Is the firewall connector wired the same for most G bodys? I just got an 86 elco (I believe it was EFI as it has an ecu) and I swapped a carbed 350 into it. I have a tucked and trimmed harness from a 78 elco that I have run with the swapped engine. Can I...

Finally got back on this. Was able to use the removed sections from the chop to piece in some of the fillers. Here is a quick easy trick if you have an irregular patch you need to make like this interrior gap Put some masking tape over the gap and rub it with your grubby fingers to leave marks...

We are going to quarter the roof and add filler metal. We weren't able to line up donor material so I will have to make due with the sections that were cut out. The profiles look simmular enough to me

Decision has been made and cutting has started, 4" chop it is Braced up Marked out With the fresh hair cut And the quick mockup Roof needs to be quarterd and cuts need to be cleaned up (as they were done with only a saws all...) But so far so good.

Lots of work to be done, but first a selfie Then on to drip rail delete, I first cut the drip rail into sections, then removed every other section and welded em This keeps the roof skin from "springing" or warping Then it was a matter of tack welding and moving to keep a lot of heat from...

No big update; headers and a few other parts showed. As expected headers fit no issues, and for the money you get a lot in the summit long tub kit... Bolts, gaskets, collector hardwear ect!

Hey thanks man. I don't think this is a democratic thing. Personally I'd love to chop it because I love fabricating. But in the long run it would be more money and more work for something that dosent really make an impact either way. So it's all on the owner to make the call... He's the one...

Last pan fabricated, and the cab was lifted back in place. I think I'm going to re-work some of it before making the trans cover; but for the most part it looks like a very solid start! And here's some pics I had the wife snap so the owner could play around with some photo-chops. Ant I...

I'm not sure what it was originally but the last owner hung the camero master on the firewall. So we will be sticking with that
