Wow are these early 4sp Grand Prix that rare? I may just go and sit in the corner for a few days as I passed one up here last year for $300 :blam:

I've got a 79 4 speed I purchased about 2 years ago. It was a base model with a split bench seat. I found a 79 SJ with a great interior and buckets, but it had a really beat up body. I have since replaced the entire interior of the 4 speed car with that of the SJ. Just need to sort out a few more things and then I'll get her painted

Still have it? Any pics?

I had a 79 Grand Am 301 4spd about 10 years ago. High Performance Pontiac did an article on a one-owner 79 GA 301 4spd in Oct. 2007, I also have a Motor Trend magazine from Jan. 1979 with a test of a two-tone Carmine Red 4spd GP with the factory wire wheels.
