I have 2 KZF trannys, one for sure bad, one making a whining noise and then I have a rebuilt normal 200 4r. can I take the plain 200 4r and swap the valve body, governor and servo into it and have the same thing as rebuilding the KZF with stock parts? trying to avoid paying for a total overhaul

What are you looking to swap? What are you hoping to accomplish?

The kzf should have a "692" servo. This is an upgrade over other smaller area units though there are others with larger area giving more clamping force, too.

The vb/gov could give you higher shift points if installed. I believe the factory points were in the 4800 rpm range.

Inside it will still have the stock tan frictions if this is what the builder used and a stock friction band. Dandy pieces for putting around town but not ideal for WOT blasts on the street and strip.
