Turns out he hooked the positive to the negative and negative to the positive and now my cutlass won't start or do anything!!! Not even a click can someone please help.

What's the best way to check it I looked at the two wires and pulled on them and they look good but what's the best way to check it they have power running thru them? Or is there a fuse in the fuse box I should be looking at?

how could he get a boost and leave if he crossed the + and - ?.....do your headlights turn on?....if not check the fusible link. If the fusible link is burnt do not replace that with a fuse. For a temporary fix cut out the fusible link and use and 14 gauge wire in it's place

Take off the battery terminals, clean them, and bolt them back on...and re-torque. I had to do that recently.
